King’s College London, with the support of Camões Institute, invites applications for a temporary position of Visiting Scholar for the period from the 10th October to the 9th December 2011. The Visiting Scholar shall teach six sessions of one hour seminar on Biographies and Autobiographies in the Portuguese-speaking World. Eligible candidates with a PhD and teaching experience are welcome from any area of Humanities or Social Sciences. The Departments of History and Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies will be directly involved. The total subvention corresponds to €9,000, including lodging and flights, paid in sterling at the exchange rate of the moment of the transfer, with the necessary tax deduction.
